Here's a quote from one of our Gold Members

Hi Philip,

Terrific customer service...   I am so impressed!!  Yes,  I got the updates and thank you for a wonderful job.   I am on your web site every day,  a great diversion from the daily grind at work.  I have a boat it the harbor in Dana Point and with fuel prices as they are,  I look to you site to save time and money.   You have been "on the mark" since I have been a member the past 3 months.  We have caught a lot of fish following your gold member GPS marks.   Thank you!!

Please keep up the good work,  OK,  can you bring the yellowfin up now and the albies a little closer to home??   :)

Kindest Regards, Randy Alward

Members Only Bluefin Tuna Audio

*Yellows on kelps too
*If you don't get bit, go west until you find the dirty water and then go east until you are back in the clean water. The BFT will pile up there.
*Work hard to look for eyeball fish
*Stay out of the dirty water if you finf it. Best to look back at the boat wake to see if the water is clean (purple) or dirty, offcolor. You want to work the edge of the dirty water on the clean water side of the break. If you find dirty water, go east until you run out of it. (This water moves around a lot so pay attention)

Awesome bluefin tuna fishing here on Friday and it might just hold up to the anticipated boat pressure. The BFT are from 20 to 65 pound so bring some heavy mono like 40 to 60 pound. Awesome day here!

Several big schools of BFT up here too today with some very good fishing with mixed albacore. It gets you away from the crowd a bit and gives you somewhere to go if the fish don't bite up above. Nice water here.

The 213 is loaded with bluefin and albacore. Great fishing here but it could be farther than you need to run as that 43 zone is rocking. This should get you off by yourself where you can make a big score.

Success Members Email Hi Phillip - Wow, fishing really sucked.  Thanks to your GPS numbers we were one of the very lucky boats who found a great kelp paddy with some beautiful 20 - 25 pound yellowtail.  When we realized what we had we immediately radioed our buddies in our wolf pack and they came and enjoyed the fun as we backed off and cheered their success.  There were no albacore but we saw a lot of good sign and suspect it will begin to chew this week.  At least we ate well on the fresh yellowtail filets.  Thanks again for your help.  Larry Brown, Gold Member from Playa Del Rey

Hey guys, I went fishing on Friday September 2nd. We left out of long beach Davies ramp about 4:00 am with two of my good friends I've known since jr high. We were at Nacho's at 4:30 and got some awesome super green sardines that were cured very well! We then headed for the 14 mile bank and found a patty. The first guy with a bait in the water was Gus and he was instantly bit as his dorado took his first and second jump into the air he was off the hook almost as fast as he was on. We then headed toward the 277 as we got there we found a very large patty with jumping dorado, so we slid in very slow and we all threw baits about the same time I hooked a large dorado and Gus and James both pulled in 20lb yellows. My dorado weighed in at 22lbs. I then hooked a big yellow and the bite on that patty was over. We ended up finding a couple more kelps and ended up with three dorado and five nice yellows. What a great day it was!!

Many Dorados were free swimmers.  We had already limited on Dorados and were focusing on the Yellows to limit on them, when the Patriot pulled up and chummed all of the fish off the paddy, practically, that really sucks when that happens.
